Jenna Kutcher's new book can help you, and your business, thrive.

Jenna went viral as a “curvy” girl married to “Mr. Sixpack”. The internet ate it up like ice cream on a hot summer's day. You can read the full story in Jenna's new book. But maybe you only know the Jenna of post-viral fame.

So you may be asking, what was she doing before she was on the Today Show? How did she get her start? Did she always have an entrepreneurial mindset? What has kept her going and growing is what she had in place prior to going viral. That's the story of the real way to becoming an “overnight sensation“! (Spoiler alert, there is no such thing!)

When did you first hear about Jenna? Maybe from her top-rated podcast, Goal Digger. Or maybe you are one of her 1 million followers on IG? Perhaps you know her from her fabulous Showit website at JennaKutcher.com? Orrrr when she took the stage at the Showit United conference? Maybe you know her from way back in the day when she was “just” a wedding photographer?

IF this is the first time hearing of Jenna Kutcher, here she is in her own words:

“I’m a small-town Minnesota author, podcaster, educator, and photographer with big dreams and the #1 Marketing Podcast in the country.”

In a nutshell, Jenna worked in a corporate job out of college where she wore “khakis and a red polo” to work every day. (Are you guessing Target, too?) But she worked long hours and could not spend the amount of time she wanted with friends and the aforementioned, Mr. Sixpack. So, what's a girl to do?

Jenna created a plan!

And you can create one too. It doesn't have to look exactly like this, but here's Jenna's:

  1. Make a massive $300 investment* on a camera off of Craig's List. (*for a 20+ year old!)
  2. Join the wedding photography industry. Convince friends to hire you and work your way up.
  3. Join the photography education industry as an “amateur water-color artist, macaroni and cheese lover”.
  4. Put it all on a website. Showit.co
  5. Do not shy away from Instagram even with pimples. Be authentic. It's okay to share your pre-kid-self taking naps on the daily. Share it. They will love you for it.
  6. Make a fab podcast about the hustle and the goals, but also the reality.
  7. Write a viral blog post.** (**if you can!)
  8. Add more CTAs (call to actions) and more Opt-ins as your business grows.
  9. Revisit your website to reflect your growth: Showit.co grows with you. (We've been with Jenna since Day 1!)
  10. Write a book. Rewrite book. Smile at your book on the shelves of major retailers everywhere! (Back at Target? Hello, Full Circle!)
  11. Grow to over a million followers on Instagram, over 50 million downloads on the podcast, share all your secrets so others can do it too, and not feel bad about it in the process.

Friends, you don't need these steps. Well, maybe some of them. But lucky for you -Jenna Kutcher has written the book -literally- on how she did it all. And the steps and the IG only show a little slice.

Get Jenna's book.

In the book, you will see that she grew by asking herself better, clearer questions.

Armed with time and space, and enough paper to make a long list of the answers to her questions to herself. She gave herself grace to see the real reasons behind the good and the bad of her business and personal life. Then she wrote it all in this book so that you can be better prepared for when you go viral. Or when you don't. Either way, you and your business will be better prepared for what lies ahead.

Asking herself some integral questions was a key to Jenna's success.

So why don't you start by asking yourself “How are you, really?” And then get your hands on Jenna's amazing book! It's a guided journey through asking yourself how you really are, who you really are, and what kind of life you really want — available now, everywhere books are sold.
