Wendy Cunningham is a Southern wedding photographer who worked with designer Lyss Aviles on her custom Showit website.

What caught your eye about your website designer that made you want to work with her?

I knew that she saw my vision with the southern chic style with lots of glitz and glamour without it looking Pinterest like! We just clicked and got each other.

What was your favorite thing about working with a designer?

Simply watching my website unfold was my favorite part. She was able to bring things to the table that I would have never even thought about. But she was so easy to work with. If I had an idea that I wanted to try out, she would try it. If I hated it, she would toss it. She was very patient with my indecisiveness!

What is your favorite thing about your website, and what makes your website unique?

First and foremost the glitter and the gold foil accents. But it was also very important to me to make my website feel like ME! And with me moving from Nashville to Central Louisiana, I wanted to incorporate a little bit of Louisiana into the site. The home page says, BIENVENUE in big bold letters. And the Thank you page (after hitting submit on the contact page) has a popular french saying down here in Louisiana. I wanted to be able to incorporate all of this while still staying true to any southern bride who appreciates family heritage, front porches and sweet teas with grandma, and long hot summers in the south.
