Riette Kruger is a Virginia wedding photographer who worked with Showit Design Smith Sean Naus on a custom Showit website.

How did you find your website designer?

I met Sean through the Showit Facebook group! I think that half the people in my life I consider my friends are from that group, most of them I've never met in person! 🙂 Anyway, more than you asked for! But yes, I got acquainted with Sean through the wonderful world of Facebook.

What caught your eye about your website designer that made you want to work with him?

What got my attention is the fact that Sean creates the site in 1 day – I had spent months and months (ok, maybe even over a year!) trying to design my own site and every time I would get close to something I like, I'd be so tired of it that I just scratch everything and start over. So i loved the idea of him being the professional, knowing what questions to ask and how to find my style and to create a website for me based on that! Much of his work seemed clean and not over cluttered. Also, Sean was starting out with the new “overnight site” part of his business and I love giving people a chance when they have a skill and just need someone to help them show it off!

What is your favorite thing about your website?

I love the welcoming feel. After pinning a bunch of photos on pinterest for Sean, I noticed (and chuckled to myself as I realized this) that the majority of the photos were of rooms – I wanted to create a feel of being welcomed into an area, without having a cheesy “living room” website. I LOVE how Sean used my colors to create almost a beach-house, bright, and classy look!
