Chrissy Henry is a South Florida wedding photographer who designed her own website using Showit.

How did you get started working on your Showit site?

There have been many “first” steps! I've changed it up so many times – it has been a work in progress over the past 4 years, and I am sure I will continue to tweak things in the future. That's the beauty of Showit!

Where did you look for inspiration for your site?

The site I have now was fully inspired by my recent move to Palm Beach. I wanted a nautical feel that was different than the navy and white stripe-types that you typically see. I learned from Promise Tangeman a while ago that the best way to figure out how to brand yourself and create a site for your brand is to begin by looking at your closet. Well if you look at my closet, it's basically exactly like my site – actually my whole house is!

What are you most proud of on your website?

I'm most proud of the fact that I made it on my own. I wanted to hire a designer for quite some time, but financially it has never been a good time. I decided to buckle down and make it work, and I actually fell in love with the whole process.
