Parker may possibly be the most extroverted person you have met in life. You can actually see him getting more powerful and energetic as an event is going on, as the introverts in the room start checking their watches and try to slip out unnoticed. Parker loves the opportunity to meet people from all over the world - through websites. If you have been to a conference that Showit happens to be sponsoring, chances are you have seen Parker there. Parker loves websites so much that he even started a side gig about websites with his good friend and co-worker, Trevor Elcock. When he is not talking websites, he is golfing or trying to plan a golf outing, or he's hanging out with friends because - that's what extroverts do. You can hear more about Parker on this podcast episode!
Monica is an Arizona native. She has had several different career paths, including manager at Harkins (she loves movies, so that was a major win!) and a massage therapist. But now she is here at Showit, and we are so thankful to have this hard working, gentle, and delightful soul on our admin team. Monica may seem quiet and reserved, but she is a warrior at heart and always ready to help those in need. If you are interested in hearing more about her story, you can find out more here! When she isn’t working, she loves to hike, read, hang out with her hubby, Matt, and drink coffee. She says her love language is coffee. Which is perfect, cause coffee and GIFs are the primary languages spoken at Showit.
With a great love for the late Bob Ross, James grew up loving art, creating and designing. James went to Texas A&M for Exercise Science and business, as well as Dallas Theological Seminary. If you haven't gathered this yet - James has a great love of a vast array of things. He has run a successful music company, been a freelance photographer, and his latest (and greatest!) venture has been to be a family man! James and his beautiful bride, Jessica, have welcomed twins boys into the world, and their home. Jaydon and Jidenna are a pair of heartbreakers already! Whether James is hanging out with his family, playing sports, leading a group of young men, or taking pictures to fuel his creativity, he is undoubtedly having a great time. We are thankful to have this multi-talented and passionate creative on our team as our Marketing Director.
Though Nathan is a Developer here at Showit, he should be a professional juggler. He has a Marketing degree from ASU, but has been a software engineer in his previous job, and is now a developer here at Showit. He is a major self-learner and has been able to teach himself the insane array of skills that he now has. But when did he have time to develop these skills? He has been happily married for 15 years to his beautiful wife, Heather, and together they have 4 kids. They were foster parents, having welcomed over 7 kids into their family in that time, and are now happy to have closed their license to focus on the kids in their home. And so like we said, Nathan is something of a multi-tasking juggler, and maybe also a magician.
Jess is from Wisconsin, but somehow managed to make it all the way over to Arizona. And then to North Carolina, and then back to Arizona! Jess is always down for an adventure, and loves to travel and experience new places. Being married to Tanner is an adventure in itself, as his job has fortunately allowed her to travel quite a bit around the US. And having been off and on the road for the last few years, Jess has been able to work as a freelance graphic designer, where she gets to flex her creative muscles. And now as a member of the Marketing team here at Showit, she is excited to work with more creatives, while still being creative herself! Jess loves to laugh (especially while watching The Office), has been referred to as 'meme lord' (thanks for the Showit memes), apparently makes the best chocolate chip cookies (we'll need some of those to show up to our office to confirm), and we are excited to have her on our team!
Ethan is one of the youngest members of the Showit crew, but he is among the top in terms of his creativity and photography skills! Don't believe us? Whether you follow him on Instagram, or just want to hang out on his website, you will be taken aback by this young man's ability to capture a moment, tell a story, and evoke feelings in a single still shot. And this is all as a brand photographer! So powerful. And as a photographer, Ethan is stereotypically drawn to coffee shops and people watching. Even though he grew up in Iowa and Kentucky, we are thankful that Ethan has chosen to grow his roots here in the desert! Ethan is part of the Marketing team, and next time you encounter him at a conference or online, ask him about his next branding project, or how many friends' elopements he has had the pleasure or capturing. (It's a lot.)
As most kitchen sinks are full of an assortment of random, though useful items - so too is Adam Sink, one of our amazing Developers! Adam is not just some boring, stuffy, nerdy tech geek. He has a wicked quick wit, and a warm heart. He is dad to 2 strapping young lads, and does lots of fun stuff with them, like play video games. Among Us is a favorite at the moment, which inspired him to show up to our staff Halloween Party, and take second place, for his crewmate costume that he made himself! See? A jack of many trades! With his knowledge in the tech world, and having worked for this little company called GoDaddy for many moons, we are beyond ecstatic to have Adam on our team. He is all that and the kitchen sink!
What do you get when you combine a major love for snowboarding and wood working? A software developer, obviously!
Ok. So maybe those things don't necessarily go together, but Nick Randall is a developer, and he does love woodworking and snowboarding! Snowboarding is a little harder a hobby to fine-tune here in the desert, but fortunately, Nick has 2 little kids who keep him occupied and off the slopes. Nick is happily married to his beautiful wife, Kat, and together they juggle life beautifully with 2 little kids. Having graduated with a degree in Computer Animation, he is using his skills and passion as a developer here at Showit, and starting our first ever Video Game Book Club (it's like a book club, but with no books, just video games!)
Having grown up in Arkansas, there is a very laid back and lovely nature about Rusty that just makes you feel like you are talking to an old friend, even if you have just met. New to Arizona, he now calls Show Low home, and he is the facilities manager at Rivendale Ranch. He has lived many lives, running his family business back in Arkansas, and being a second shooter to his lovely wife Cassie Jones, and now taking charge of all things Rivendale. He has learned many new skills, like installing walls and bathrooms, leading a team, and playing on an excavator. All while keeping his delightful southern manners and a smile on his face!
Favorite pastimes include golfing, hockey, working out, eating pasta, reading massive theological textbooks (this one by MacArthur is a fave) and coding. How old would you think Nikita is? 40? Maybe 30? Well, this highly intellectual, deeply spiritual, and absolutely lovely and active young man just graduated high school in 2020. But beyond graduating from his high school in New Jersey, Nikita taught himself to code during the pandemic! Spending 8-10 hours a day on random coding projects, this new high school graduate made the pivot from wanting to study finance to now working here at Showit as a Junior Developer. He has already created many new apps and fixed many bugs, and we are excited to see what else he creates!
Have you ever met someone who is all at once totally practical, mature, and smart, but who also appreciates the cinematic mastery of Surf's Up? Well, now you have. Cole Simpson is an amazing Support Pro, who has joined our team from California. He was actually at Northwestern University on a Track scholarship (you can challenge him in a 400-800m race, but you will probably lose), until he suffered a rock-climbing injury (you still might lose to him in a race though). But Northwestern's loss is our gain for sure! You can watch his creative brain really come alive when he is in the middle of a D&D game, or when he is helping our customers out with their website issues. His number one love, beyond penguin movies and fantasy games, is people. And he and his new bride, Taylor, are passionate about building community in their new apartment complex where they partner with Apartment Life.
Zach Keogh is our only Showit staffer who was born in Anchorage, and who has ever been a commercial fisherman. He is also our only staffer who has snowboarded into a light pole and had to relearn how to walk! (When he was 7). Zach is coming at us with a lot of our firsts, but like a lot of his coworkers, he also enjoys running, lifting, playing video games, and hanging out with his 2 cats - Grim and Fanny Pack. He learned about coding and graphic design at the Art Institute of Seattle, and we are so blessed to have him on our team as a developer. Next time you see him, ask him about how he likes his salmon prepared, or about how he is also a cancer survivor (he had it in his knee!)
Keegan Lambert is a hero to us all. He is a third-generation Arizona native and a graduate of the American Military University. He is our only staff member who has served in the military, and we are all truly so thankful to him, and his family, for their service to our country! Keegan spent 18 months in Kabul before Covid hit the world. And due to different turns of events - he now finds himself sitting at a desk, making Showit an even more powerful tool for small businesses. And he is thrilled about it! And so are we. When he isn't working or serving our country, he is hanging out with his wife, Tanya, and their 2 precious kids. Sometimes camping or playing Mario Kart, or eating sushi (that's date night. Every. Time.), but definitely always laughing and having a great time!
Abraham is a multi-talented gem - which maybe he needed to be to make a splash as baby 11 of 15! He started his degree in electrical engineering at ASU, where he was also going to try out for the baseball team, until 2020 happened. But Abraham definitely believes everything happens for a reason, and so he did not let that hiccup in his plans stop him. Now he is at Showit as a Support Pro, doing one of the things he loves doing most - which is helping others. His goal however is to open up a shoe store that would help out the community by providing jobs, mentorship, as well as shoes (of course!). See? He loves to help others! And when he isn't working, he likes to read personal development books, be out in nature, play card/board games/basketball, and hang out with his new bride, Casynda. See? Multi-talented and multi-faceted gem. Basically, he's a diamond!
Brendan is actually one of the few Showit employees who have a software engineering degree. Though he was interested in possibly going into the gaming arena of software engineering, we are thankful to have him as an enthusiastic and helpful Support Pro. When Brendan isn't working, he can be found golfing, playing basketball or softball, or honing his leadership skills by reading and hanging out with other leaders. A random goal he has is to master the 'Happy Gilmore' drive. And we are over here rooting him on, because we believe whatever this young man has set in his mind to do - he will achieve it!
Tom joined the Showit team during the summer as he was eagerly awaiting school to be back in session at The Master's University in California, where he is majoring in the Bible with an emphasis in Biblical Languages and Theology. Tom is a lover of learning. He spends much of his time reading and studying because his brain is hungry, and he is obsessed with feeding it! When Tom is not reading up on all things Bible, he enjoys destroying people at sports. He played Jr Hockey, with his twin brother Nikita (who is on our development team!), and has most recently gotten into playing pickleball. No matter what Tom is doing, he is doing it with heart, and all of his might! Which is great for our customers when he is answering their support questions.
A lot of people look at Matt and do a double take because they think they are looking at future Todd. Matt is a Watson, like Todd is, only he is his uncle, not his dad. But the apple clearly does not fall far from the tree! Matt is the CFO here at Showit, not because of nepotism, but because Matt is an actual Certified Public Accountant. Although Matt is not a big fan of social media, our Tik Tok followers love him and the tax tips and small business tips he drops on them! When Matt isn't being forced to show up on Tik Tok, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 40 years, Syria, and their two boys and their significant others.
Kat is a master art director, who came to Showit after an illustrious career at Isagenix, as their Graphic Design Supervisor. The beautiful things she was able to create with protein powder and ingredients was art directing at its finest! (Check it out here!) Some other fun facts about Kat are that she is fourth-generation Japanese, and her grandparents were vegetable farmers in Glendale. She is also super into thrift store shopping, crafting and antiquing, and she loves a good thrifted outfit. These days you will find her renovating her childhood home into a super cool Spanish modern ranch, where she lives with her sweet little boy and girl, and her husband, fellow Showit employee, Nick. It's not an office romance story, as they were married before she came to Showit, but they do have a sweet story of how they got together!
Ary is actually Zachary, but we refer to him by the end part of his name since we already have 2 other Zacharys who work here! Fortunately, he is very much accustomed to favoring the tail end of names, especially with his tailed pets. In fact, all of his animals are named after months: a cat named Tober, as in October, a French Bulldog named Auggie, as in August, and of course, a Pug named June, as in... well June. But Ary’s creative talents don’t just reside in the unique ways that he thematically names animals. You may have seen his work when John Wick 3 was coming out - best Valentine’s Day/movie premiere campaign ever. You can check out more of his work from his portfolio on his website. It’s all so great. We are mighty thankful to be able to have Ary at Showit as our Creative Director, as he brings so much experience and style to the company. When he isn’t working, you can find him hanging out with his pets and his stunning wife, Athena, while they run their soap company, Katlin Supply Co.
Meet Kiefer, a lover of all things horror and action movies and shows. Some of his favorites include Zombieland, 300, Zack Snyder's Justice League, Logan, Ash vs Evil Dead, and Rick and Morty. Kiefer has always been drawn to these genres, fascinated by the adrenaline rush and excitement they bring.
If Kiefer could have any superpower, he would choose retractable claws. He has always been fascinated by characters like Wolverine, and the idea of being able to defend himself with razor-sharp claws is incredibly appealing to him.
Despite his love for action and horror, Kiefer is also a thoughtful, gentle, and compassionate individual who values his relationships with others. He is a loyal friend who always puts the needs of others before his own, and he takes pride in being there for those who need him. He is a wonderful Support Pro who is fascinated by those he is assisting, and creative and compassionate in the ways that he serves our customers and those in his circle of humans that he loves dearly.
We love it when Sarah comes into the office because she brings such a great energy and joy wherever she goes. But we also love to see what she is wearing! Her style is as fun and diverse as her range of interests. She is a serious sneakerhead, she is at about 15 at the time of this post, but she is also a seriously awesome mom to her 2 boys, and wife to her sweet husband. But as much as she loves fashion and shoes, she LOVES people. She was a pastor at a local church for many years before she pivoted and came to Showit to serve our customers with her huge heart and desire to love and support people. So if you are ever talking to Sarah, know that you are in good hands. And that she has good shoes on her feet.
Matt is a seriously smart software developer, with equally seriously lovely flowing locks. He loves his dog and playing piano. When asked what his dream day looked like, he stated that he's already had it: He was in LA, spent the morning reading at a coffee shop, then his friends got engaged, he ate Nashville hot chicken, went and saw the Los Angeles choral's first performance back in years, at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. He then went to a fancy place for dinner, took photos of the newly engaged couple at the Santa Monica Pier, then ended the night with a discussion about philosophy with his roommate. A lovely day where he got to flex his cerebral and artistic muscles, in the company of great friends.
Jefferson's perfect day includes spending the day somewhere in the mountains, with good friends, and no plans. But let's say someone were to attack Jefferson in the mountains (ok, perfect day ruined). That person would be toast. Because the chances that there is a drone recording the attack is super high.
Jefferson is a wiz with his drone, as well as any video camera. You can check out his work on Unsplash, or on his website. But if you follow Showit on Instagram or YouTube, you have also seen his work there. What an insane blessing to have this creative and talented Videographer on the Showit team!
When Jefferson isn't chilling or videoing life and nature, he is running. Like this man can run fast. And not just for the first mile or two of needing to chase someone down. No, he is a crazy cross-country runner. He can run a mile in 4:32 (his PR). That's crazy, right? He recently completed a half-marathon on a whim, just for funsies, with Todd Watson, Showit CEO. No training was involved. But much fun was had, which brings us back to that perfect day with good friends and no plans.
With a solid education from Penn State (Bachelor's and Master's), Mike chose the school for its great Architectural Engineering program and awesome football culture. Mike is a great balance of being a very smart and a very loving human. He loves people and developing them, which is why he chose to go to the mission field in Honduras for over 10 years with his lovely wife, Ashley, instead of pursuing a career in engineering.
But now he engineers projects and helps our team at Showit with great wisdom and patience. He is officially the king of balance as he organizes and keeps track of the many different projects that Todd throws his way. Working at Showit has also forced him to become a better Pickleballer, golfer, and Hot Sauce Challenger.
When he isn't at work, Mike likes to hang out with his wife and mini poodle, while watching solid movies like The Shawshank Redemption and Tommy Boy.
When asked what her least favorite color is, she stated firmly: "chartreuse." Samantha is sweet, yet firm; Easy going, but also no-nonsense. She respects what others like and want to do, and she has a strong sense of confidence in what she likes and wants to accomplish in life! All of this adds up to her being a phenomenal Support Pro as she is an empathetic listener, as well as a quick and wise help to our customers.
As much as she loves work, she also loves to get out and adventure. Her dream day involves going to a Pilates or Barre class, travelling to any beach, and going on a boat with friends and family. Maybe stopping for a nice little dinner in Italy if there's time. Super dreamy stuff! But she is still very much happy with her regular non-dream days that involve being in Arizona, and hanging with her 2 dogs, and her husband. No matter where Samantha is, or what kind of day it is, Samantha is sure to be happy to be there, as long as there is no chartreuse anywhere to be seen.
Kevan Elcock is a passionate man, which is why his AI generated nickname at Showit is ‘K-Love’. Much like the Christian radio station of the same monicker, he is also very positive and encouraging! Which makes him a phenomenal Support Pro, father, husband, friend, and beyond.
When asked what his favorite books are, he said “Anything non-fiction or fishing related”. But Kevan isn’t just a guy who likes to laze about fishing. If you google him, you will find an article that talks about the time he hit the netting that protects a restaurant in the deep left field as a Colorado Mesa Maverick. Now post-college, you will find Kevan smashing golf balls instead of baseballs.
Kevan is a great mix of brute strength and caring kindness. He is married to his college sweetheart, Isa. Together they have a little boy named Keelon, and are expecting baby #2 in May! But no matter if he is at home, at his desk, or out enjoying the great outdoors (fore!), you can trust that he is shining his positive and encouraging light to all around him.
Marguerite is an organized, systemized administrative genius who happens to love billing!
She is the mom to the cutest baby girl, Eloise, with another baby on the way.
For being as organized as she is, Marguerite is also up for surprises and adventures! For instance, she never finds out the gender of her babies. That's pretty wild behavior. And when she was 16 she spent a summer living in Spain, and designed her own program. After college, she drove coast to coast and lived in her car. If she sounds like a borderline menace to society - she is not! Her husband, Hunter is a pastor at New Valley Church, which is what brought them to Arizona at the beginning of 2023.
When Marguerite isn't clearing out the billing queue, she enjoys reading and taking pretty pictures. In fact, Marguerite was the photographer behind Clay and Bolder Photography, but since moving to Arizona she has decided to close that chapter of her life. And fun little factoid: while living in North Carolina and being a photographer out there, she was good friends with long-time Showiteer Devin Robinson and his lovely wife Katherine! What a small, and beautiful, creative world we live in.
Tim, the founder of Pixifi and a dynamic software developer, is always up for a good time. He has a natural talent for building things, which led him to create his own software company called Pixifi.
While work is important to Tim, he also knows how to have fun. He is crazy extroverted and loves to meet new people and make new friends. His outgoing personality is infectious, and he has a talent for bringing people together. His love for karaoke is well-known among his friends, and he is always up for an impromptu singalong, work out, or just being around people!
Tim is also a devoted family man. He cherishes spending time with his wife and kids, whether it's exploring new places or having a family movie night at home. His love for his family is at the heart of everything he does, and he is grateful for their constant support and encouragement.
Tim's infectious personality and passion for life make him a beloved member of the Showit Team, but especially of the predominantly introverted Product Department .
